Lodge at Saint Edward Park|Kenmore, WA

Nestled within Saint Edward Park in Washinton State, St Edward Seminary was built in the 1930’s, functioned as a Catholic Seminary for over 40 years, then sat empty for decades after being shuttered in the 1970’s. After a thoughtful and extensive renovation, this historic preservation and adaptive reuse project opened in Spring, 2021 as an 86 room boutique hotel featuring a restaurant, two bars, a ballroom, a spa and 8 meeting rooms.  The interior design concept evolved with the idea of the natural setting as both a spiritual component and a source for the color palette. The architectural details of the building inspired details of the custom finishes and furnishings. With a blend of contemporary with traditional, the new interiors sit comfortably within the architectural style of the Romanesque Revival exterior while injecting some needed comfort and color into the formerly monastic interior environment.  Inside, you will find cozy vintage-inspired guest rooms, an elegant and airy restaurant, a deco-inspired lobby bar, and a more intimate bar in what was once the luggage and barber shop area.  Custom murals, historic photos, and one of a kind custom and vintage décor complete the newly conceived hospitality spaces.
