The Lodge at Saint Edward Park |Kenmore, Washington

Nestled within Saint Edward Park in Washington State, Saint Edward Seminary was built in the 1930’s, functioning as a Catholic Seminary for over 40 years. The building was shuttered in the 1970’s, and sat empty for decades. After a thoughtful and extensive renovation, the historic preservation and adaptive reuse project opened in Spring 2021 as an 86 room boutique hotel featuring a restaurant, two bars, a ballroom, a spa and 8 meeting rooms.

The architectural details of the building inspired details of the custom finishes and furnishings, while the colors of the original terra cotta roof and the surrounding forest inspired the interior color palette. A blend of contemporary and traditional, the new interiors sit comfortably within the architectural style of the Romanesque Revival exterior. Inside, you will find cozy vintage-inspired guest rooms, an elegant and airy restaurant, a deco-inspired lobby bar, and a more intimate bar in what was once the luggage and barber shop area. Custom murals, historic photos, and one of a kind custom and vintage furnishings and décor complete the newly conceived hospitality spaces.
